Other Info: Having just got married to my partner of the last 13 years I feel the time is right to become a parent. We are a stable household, happy and well organised. Work hard, play hard types. I teach maths and further maths, mainly A level at a very academic school in Derbyshire. My husband is a teacher too - French and Spanish. He less keen on parenting, hence a coparenting approach is attractive to us. Parenting is very important to me ... I see the outcomes of both good and poor parenting at school on a daily basis ... And I want to provide the love and support I unfortunately didn't receive from my father. My friends and colleagues tell me regularly what a great dad I'd be, and every time they tell me this, it hurts a bit more than the last time ... It's hard to make it a reality when you are gay.
