Other Info: I am willing to supply some tissue, I do not wish to have contact with the child as I consider it to be a tissue donation, in the same way that one donates a kidney. This is a no questions asked donation. There will be no legal contracts or contact after a successful donation. Just to reassure you - I have a Phd and am from a very long line of high achievers both in sporting pursuits and academic pursuits. The strike rate in our family for medical doctors is 50% and it has been this way for 6 generations in NZ. I was number 1 in NZ academically in 1 subject in bursary. For a long time I was believer in genetics. I believed that what I had in life was the result of DNA but now I believe there is very little difference genetically between individuals and the most important thing is the environment one grows up in.
