**Photos have been uploaded... please stay tuned!** Hi! We are a married heterosexual couple, located just outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada looking to start our family with a little help from an angel out there. My husband, 42, has two children from a previous marriage who live with their mother and we very much want to have children together. Unfortunately, while serving overseas with the military on multiple tours, my husband was injured and his tubes were scarred closed, allowing no sperm to get through. We identified this issue and we paid for surgery to get everything open and working again, but alas, he is among the unlucky ones and his body now identifies his sperm as foreign invaders and attacks them with anti-bodies. He has 100% antibodies, attached at both the heads and tails of his sperm, and he has 1% motility, meaning that the sperm are nearly paralyzed from their little anti-body cling-on friends, and cannot swim to their destination. My husband is currently working on a degree in computer systems analysis to complement his Mechanical Engineering and his 14 years of Flight Engineering. Myself, on the other hand, I am very fertile and have far more follicles than the fertility docs would have expected. (Hooray for a fertility win!) My fertility age is very young, although I'm now 36 years old. Due to my good fertility, we were advised to try IUI with my husband's contribution and the assistance of chemicals at the fertility centre. We have just finished the second round unsuccessfully and each month the disappointment seems to grow. We will not be undertaking IVF, as it is just financially unviable for us at this time, but are actively looking to start down a new path with donor sperm. We can do IUI or home method, but we are not open to natural insemination. In our dream world, we'd like very much to find a sperm donor match similar to my husband. He is 6'4", of Slovenian/Hungarian and Irish decent, an Alpha-male, very smart especially in the fields of engineering, math and aviation, and is also a talented musician. He loves to laugh, is tattooed, into chopper/motorcycle culture, and has lived quite a life, both in the military and out, enjoying travel and history. A bit about me, the baby-mama .... I am just under 5' 8", blonde with blue eyes, fair skin. I have a couple of hidden tattoos. I am very creative and thrive in creative settings. I currently work in education with special needs children, but have spent the former part of my life as a professional singer and dancer, traveling the world (33 countries at last count) for my work, and am trilingual (English, French and Italian) with some additional language capabilities thrown in for good measure. My undergraduate degree from a US university is in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a double major in Musical Theatre/Opera and Italian. I graduated Magna*****Laude and am a member of the Golden Key Honor Society. My Master's Degree in Education studies are currently on hold, but I adore learning and plan to finish them once our family is firmly rooted! I love to be silly and have a dry-yet-completely-ridiculous sense of humour, love to laugh, love to LIVE, and I enjoy being in the backcountry as much as I enjoy the finer things life has to offer. I'm at home in a ball gown at a gala, at the ballet or the opera, as much as I am on the side of a mountain, at Michaels getting craft supplies, or in the sandbox doing activities with kids. I have ALWAYS wanted to have children of my own, and we already have a room dedicated to educational toys and learning materials (partly because of my current work, and partly because I just can't help myself!) We really hope that you might want to help us realize this incredible dream! Good luck and happy matching to all.
