Other Info: I am originally from the United States and lived in the US for my first 12 years. Thereafter, I have lived in about 9 different countries and hold 4 citizenship now (Dominican Rep, Chilean, USA, and Australia).
15 years ago, I came to Australia for the birth of my daughter. I was a stay at home dad the first 2 years and my daughter has been in my care most her life.
I have been co-parenting with my ex-wife for about 10 years - my daughter lives half the time with me and half with her mum.
I have always loved being a father and I would like to think I am pretty good at it. It has been a role I have loved every day since my daughter’s birth.
I would very much be interested in co-parenting arrangement and I think I have the experience, patience, and flexibility to make such an arrangement work. Ideally, I am interested in an arrangement where the child lives with me half the time and the other half with her biological mother, but of course I am flexible to this idea if distance and location is an issue.
