I had immense success having my first child through this website! Not currently looking for another sperm donor, as I have that aspect covered. I AM looking to find a compatible co-parent to share the joys and responsibilities of raising a second child. I would love for my little one to have a sibling, and recognize that I don't feel like I would be able to parent within my values and ideals if I was outnumbered!
I am studying to be a therapist, and I'm all about gentle, authoritative parenting, and evidence-based parenting/family/relationship practices. I love fitness, feelings, art, nature, justice, growth and lifelong learning.
High-priority traits in a co-parent:
-sober, or only consume socially (a couple times a month, regardless of substance)
-willing to protect all members of the family from unnecessary covid exposure risks through vaccinations, masking in most public spaces, open transparency about unmasked social interactions, rapid testing, etc. This is non-negotiable. I have a life where daycare/school is the only unmitigated risk source, and I am going to keep it that way.
-are willing to be in ongoing therapy as an essential part of good parenting hygiene practices
-believes we can build a better world
-capable of coping with discomfort (learning is impossible without discomfort, and kids need this modelled)
-has a growth-mindset most of the time
