Other Info: I am a separated, heterosexual male and father of three. I have managed to retain an active role in my children's lives. My own life would be very empty without them, and my heart goes out to you if you are a childless woman who has not yet met the fabled "Mr. Right" yet longs to have a biological child of your own.

I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I exercise with dumbbells every second morning and do a lot of walking. I take supplements including those specifically designed to increase the quantity and quality of my sperm.

I am only interested in being a known father with my name on the birth certificate, not an anonymous donor, to any child I may have with you. I think it is essential for a child's mental well-being and emotional security to know who their dad is and where their roots lie. I have read too many stories about the anguish and torment which children born of unknown donor sperm often go through as they grow up and start asking questions.

I hope that you and I would maintain long-term, contact based on mutual respect and affection and that you would involve me in decisions about our child as he or she grows up. I envisage a scenario where our child(ren) would live with you full-time and I would visit. How often would depend on how close or far away we live from each other.

I believe that if you are going to do something, in this case conceive a child, you should do it right. This is why I am only willing to consider natural insemination. Studies show that normal, natural sex is three times more likely to result in pregnancy than any other method. Moreover there are now growing concerns about the long-term health of children conceived through IVF - by-passing natural selection and the survival of only the fittest sperm is now thought to lead to cardiovascular problems, obesity and diabetes as the child grows older.

My existing children were all conceived naturally and are all strong, healthy, academically in the top sets at school and very sporty. I wish the child I have with you to be able to benefit from the same attributes.
