Other Information about me/us

Other Info: We are a married same sex couple who have been together for 6 years and want nothing more than to start a family. We own a lifestyle block in a beautiful part of NZ and believe that we can offer our children a loving, comfortable, and enriched upbringing. We are both working professionals but being present and engaged parents is very important to us and we are in a position within our careers to offer this to them.

Ideally, we would like to have one child each, in quite close succession, using the same sperm donor to give our children a biological connection to one another and a sibling close in age, however, this is not paramount.

If the donor lives within a reasonable proximity to us or is willing to commit to travel (at our cost, of course) than we are keen to try home artificial insemination. However, we are also very open to using clinical services (Fertility Associates, preferably) so as to not let travel inconvenience limit our opportunity of finding a perfect donor match.

It is our desire that the donor has no parental responsibilities or rights to the child/children. Although, if the donor agrees, than we are open to the children meeting him/them when they get older, if they would like.
