My husband and I are looking for an AI sperm donor due to my husband being infertile. I am disabled due to having fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and a couple of other health problems, but nothing which would effect a pregnancy or future child/children. I am unable to work due to my problems but I raised my daughter myself until I met my husband and he is my carer.

I have an 8 year old daughter from my previous relationship. At the beginning of last year a friend was a donor for us (unable to be a donor for us again due to unforseen circumstances) and we had a beautiful baby boy in October, sadly he passed away at 5 weeks old in November due to SIDS. We didn't have him for long but we loved him so much, he has left a very big hole in our hearts and little family. My daughter had wanted to be a big sister for years and she was amazing with her little brother (she would sit on the floor next to the changing mat while I changed him and would sing, hum, gently whistle and even read to him, so that he wouldn't be upset).

It would be amazing if we could find a donor who may be able to help in the future for another sibling, if everything goes okay, but we are happy even if it's just the ability for the one.

If you would be interested in helping, please get in touch as it would mean so much to us to have the chance to have another little one. We're hoping for someone local to us as my ovulation can be out a little, so just makes it easier if possible to do a couple of days each month, or if you can do short notice then we can arrange things with the positive ovulation test if a couple of times isn't possible. Due to having my daughter full time I'm not able to travel but obviously willing to cover travel costs for the donor.
