Story for Marie Claire Australia

Hi! I'm a freelance journalist working on a story for Marie Claire on single women who are pursuing (or have pursued) parenthood in non-traditional ways - for example via IVF, asking a friend to donate sperm, or co-parenting with someone they're not in a romantic relationship with. The story will focus on a mix of practical and emotional elements of women's experiences: what made you choose the path of single parenthood, how you were feeling about your life when they made the decision, how your friends and family responded, the best and lowest points of your experiences, and so on.

Because of the demographics of the magazine's readership, we'd ideally like you to be in your 30s, but very early 40s are okay too. If you can help, please send an email telling me a little about yourself and your story to [email protected] by 11am Tuesday 27 January. Please send any queries about the story there too, and I will answer them as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance, Rachel
