I initially tried adopting through the dependency system, but that turned out to be a dead end. I would like to be an active parent and insist on contractual agreements being in place, so I would be able to maintain contact with our child. I am not seeking a relationship, but using this to reach my dream of having my own kid. I have a strong interest in social justice and equality. I try to volunteer and give back whenever I can, and I am an effective communicator.
