When we first launched Co-ParentMatch.com in 2007 we considered it to be a platform that would work, in the main, for lesbian women looking for a sperm donor. We discovered very quickly that our sperm donor search was incredibly popular with single heterosexual women.
What percentage of women are looking for a sperm donor?
This trend has continued over the last 10 years. Indeed when we looked at our stats in late 2018 we found that 52% of our members were heterosexual women. Thousands of women across the world are in a position where they are ready for a baby but no partner to help them.
Straight women are no longer waiting around for Mr Right to come along, get married and have a baby. In fact, many women are not even considering dating a man. Women are taking to the internet in their droves and searching for a sperm donor.
