Hello Everyone, We are a same-sex male couple and have been together for ten years, and live in the South East on the borders of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire in the small market town of Leighton Buzzard. It is only 30 minutes on the train to London. We go to London quite often with work. We are business entrepreneurs and mainly involved in China & UK business consultancy, bespoke tailoring, logistics consultancy, steel business and film productions. Both of us are fit and healthy, and we don’t smoke. Philip enjoys reading, going to the theatre, listening to classical music, and playing computer games. I play table tennis in some local premier leagues in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire a few times every week. I am the Chairman of our local table tennis club. I also work with a leading charity as a mentor to Master of Business Administration students at the University of Hertfordshire in how to create, set up, run and manage a business in the UK. I am fond of all types of music. We both like walking, visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, watching films together, and socialising with our friends and families. Philip and I have recently helped raise some money for a local homeless charity. We are now at a time in our lives where we have the financial stability and a desire to start a family. We enjoy the company of children and having our own child with our co-parenting mother would be a marvellous experience. We are already in the process of changing our lifestyle from travelling a lot to being at home more. We would like to build a family and it will be incredible to raise our own child and see her or him grow and flourish. Also, we would enjoy investing our time and efforts in helping them grow up to be a happy and fulfilled adult. Both Philip and I think it is important to let children learn through experience which can help them build confidence and learn to tackle life’s challenges knowing they always have the love and support of their parents. We would want to build a close bond with our child right from when they are born and spend as much time as possible with them. We hope that we can bring them up to be bilingual because although I speak both English and Mandarin, the rest of my family only speak Mandarin. We would like our child to grow up, knowing the importance of gender equality. We would like to find a suitable co-parenting mother to fulfil our parenthood dream. Philip and I are happy to relocate to be near our co-parenting mother or we can provide a separate accommodation near us for her. During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, I decided to write my memoirs. These have now been published on Amazon as JOURNEY TO THE WEST: A Long March from Eastern Dream to Western Reality, which tells the story of my family and my experience of growing up in a poor rural farming village in China, and the path to establishing myself in the UK. I hope this story will inspire others to create ambitious goals and find ways to bring them to reality regardless of their background.
