Other Info: I'm a 41 year old female living in London who loves nature and the outdoors. I'm healthy, happy and have a positive attitude to life, and am an excellent auntie. I'm well travelled, and love camping, and heading out in my campervan to escape the city. I look young for 41. I'm new to this site and exploring what it's all about and so will update and add photos later.

I'm curious to know if there is someone on here who might be interested in potentially co-parenting with me. I'm not sure I want to be a single donor mum or deny a child the chance of having a father figure as I think it's important for a healthy balance and to know where they come from. I'm looking for someone I 'click with' on a friendship level as it's important to share similar values. I haven't struggled to date in the past but I've not found my forever match.

Sadly I recently lost a baby boy, who I conceived on the first try, with my ex-boyfriend but found out at the first scan that he had some severe problems and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to end the pregnancy. I'm grateful I live in country where we have access to pre-natal screening and I would make the same decision again as I don't want a child to suffer just because of my desire to be a mum. It was only when I was pregnant with him that I realised I really did want to be a mum. Losing a child is heartbreaking and apparently 70% of couples split up as a result as it's a lot of heartache to deal with. Sadly I am now in that statistic but with a very strong maternal desire to try again.

I'm not ready to go down the dating route so my thoughts have turned to co-parenting. Is there anyone out there who has a strong desire to have a child in their life and potentially play an active role? Preferably living near me, who would like to share parenting. We'd have to get along and share some life values before embarking on this crazy adventure and mixing our gene pool.
