Other Info: I have already started an IUI process at the clinic and had extensive health and fertility testing beforehand. I am perfectly healthy, but have diminished ovarian reserve, which adds urgency to the matter of having children. So far I had 2 failed attempts and one upcoming.

I will probably try traditional IVF next, however, it is so expensive (my doctors suggest I should have at least 3 rounds of it because of my diminished ovarian reserve) that I am considering other options.

I have not felt ready to have children in my younger years as I knew I was not mature enough. It was/is important to me to be a stable, emotionally mature and competent mother. One of my master's degrees (as well as my bachelor's degree) is in pedagogy (science of education and child rearing). My education also highlighted the importance of competent patenting.

I plan to raise my child alone with the help of my friends and family (they know my situation and are happy to help).
