Other Information about me/us

Other Info: I am a single teacher with a very supportive family looking to find a donor to help me start my family, as I don't want to miss out! I have always wanted a family and get told often what an amazing mum I'd be :) My previous partners have not had either the same desire for a family as me, or the timing was going to be way off.

I would prefer for the donor to be open to having some contact with the child. I'm thinking a few interactions minimum per year - some phone calls and get togethers. This would need to be discussed and agreed upon legally with the donor, as I have heard some not very nice stories of people trying to take custody, or disappearing completely etc. Having said that, I think it would be good for the mental well being of the child to know their biological father, even though they will most probably have another dad in the picture at some point in the future. I would also prefer for the donor to be open to fathering multiple children in my future and making enough donations initially to cover this possibility.

Some background on me - I have a lovely life with great friends and a big loving family. I am often told I have a warm, open and positive nature. As I will be initially be raising the child without a dad, I am planning to live with my parents for at least the first 12 months. My sister did a similar thing with my gorgeous nephew (my godson) and it worked beautifully! I am health conscious, active, creative, and love growing things in the garden. I also hold an EU passport and have lived in France for a year.

I am truly grateful for all the sperm and egg donors out there who assist in helping grow families. Family means everything to me and if I don't end up using all my eggs that I had frozen recently, I will definitely be donating,
