I'm a happily married, well-educated, successful visual artist looking for the right situation in which to donate. For a variety of reasons (including my non-profit work in war zones), my wife and I have decided against having our own children. However, we both love the idea of helping someone bring a child into a loving home, so she is supporting and encouraging my search.
I understand that everyone's motivation for being here is unique and am open to a variety of situations. However, I most lean towards supporting a lesbian couple. Regardless, the ideal mother-to-be will be well-educated, financially stable, and have a solid support network.
While I would love to have periodic updates and perhaps even visit, I'm not looking to co-parent. It will be your child in every sense, and I will have no legal rights or obligations. You’ll decide whether or not she/he is even aware of me.
I'm open to and may even prefer donating outside of the US. My thoughts are that a geographic separation will be easier for everyone involved, at least once the child is conceived. I'm willing to travel for the right partner(s) in this.
