I'm Alex, and people tell me I'm smart, funny, sociable, reliable, and a good guy to have on your side. In addition to the interests chosen from the very strange list of options here, I love playing board, strategy, trivia, word and video games. I also enjoy dancing, singing karaoke, investing, writing, swimming, socializing with friends/family, and going to the beach. Prior to blowing my knees out, I was a pretty good athlete who played baseball and other sports regularly. I follow current events, and have run for election at the municipal level a few times now (albeit unsuccessfully). I volunteer my time and skills to various causes both formally and informally, and served as Chair on the board of a community non-profit organization for several years. A graduate of both the University of Toronto (Hons B.A., Math and Philosophy) and the University of Guelph (B. Comm, Accounting), I have not ruled out more education in my future. Currently, I live in Guelph with my partner of almost 14 years, our three rescue cats, and our 17-year-old son from her previous relationship. My partner underwent a hysterectomy as part of cancer treatment many years ago, and is very supportive of my decision to become a sperm donor.
