Hello there, potential co-parent! :-) I am 38 years old, born to a German dad and an Irish mother. I grew up in Germany but was born in Brisbane. I call Australia home and would like to raise my child here. Connection to culture and family ties are important to me, so ideally, I would like the child to know their father or have some form of contact or co-parenting arrangements. I would consider myself open-minded, creative, and well-traveled. I am extroverted and love learning new things, like exploring, listening to podcasts, and reading with a sense of adventure. I have done a fair bit of travel over the recent years and love to immerse myself in other cultures. I would like to raise my child to be worldly, open-minded, and compassionate, with connections to German and Irish community/playgroups and to learn the language as much as possible.
I enjoy nature, camping, dinner parties, cooking, travel, and socializing. I'm a big fan of intellectual conversations. I love animals and would say that I like to be creative and have a fun sense of humor. I like to eat healthily and exercise regularly; I aim to raise my child(ren) on a healthy nutritional diet, preferably in natural surroundings. Even though I have no blood relatives in Australia, I have a large support network of friends and people I consider to be family. I have a secure full-time job as well as savings and consider myself financially stable. I would love to be given the opportunity to create a life that would be nurtured and surrounded with so much love and abundance. Due to my age and not having found the right partner, it would be a shame to miss out. Ideally, I would like to share this experience with someone that wishes to be involved to some degree and shares similar views, values, and interests. My ethnicity on ancestry.com is 30% Germanic Europe, 48% Irish, and 19% Swedish Danish. I would describe myself as having a Celtic/Nordic background.
