I got into this donor business, June 2013, through reading the papers online. The Daily Mail is my favourite. I read about the shortage of donors. Knowing how important children are to some, like me who has three children, I wondered if I could help.
I get the idea that this private donor online thing is more acceptable to people than going through possibly the NHS. That is, they get to meet the donor and get to know something about him. This could be important to some in knowing more about how their offspring may look like.
This being a donor feels easier how from the responses I’ve had from some recipients. They are so pleased. The help is very much one-way but it is a big reward, to me, if I’ve helped so much.
I will only get involved with AI-strict (no exceptions). It would not be fair on my other future recipients to then do any NI. I am free of STD’s and to stay free. I do not charge for anything. The money would be small anyway, to me. If I have to travel, it will be at a time I am travelling to one of my sports, mountain biking, hang gliding or sailing. I have been known to go walking.
White, Caucasian, Ethnic group: Anglo-Saxon English, 5 foot 10 inches, average build 81 kg, blue eyes, dark brown hair, married 33 years with three children which have now left home and married. Intelligent, General IQ 129, Visual-Spatial (reasoning) IQ 135, Verbal 119, Mathematical 125. Better looking than your average guy(See photos).
Educated to honours degree in engineering but went into teaching 11 to 16 years olds, KS3-KS4 in secondary schools. Live in Staffordshire but will travel anywhere. Only allow AI -Strict.
Interests mountain biking, hang gliding and sailing, which keeps me fit and me travelling. I’ve made to my fifties but as fit as when I was 18. Good health record and no disease. Easy going nature.
Reason for being a donor is to gives others the joy of having children. Only just become a donor June, 2013.
Results so far since starting donating June 2013. 7 pregnancies 02/12/2013.
Have recently had sperm count done. Excellent result. Will send copy to any recipient.
