Other Info: My time is running out to have a child, but I would like any child I had to have a relationship with their father. However, a love match may not happen in time. Even if it did, that doesn't necessarily make for happily ever after. My mother really wants a grandchild too, and I'm the last of her children still capable.

I don't know if there are guys feeling similarly who would like to have a child and have a relationship with the child, aren't sure about romance, and might prefer to have a less emotionally charged relationship so that the child doesn't suffer... like they do in so many divorces. I've seen how acrimonious parents make kids get put in the middle too much.

I'm okay with a co-parent who wants to have extensive, extended time with a child, but as I would be at least planning to breastfeed, unless a romance did develop, the child would probably need to live primarily with me during the early times.

Anyway, worth seeing if there is anyone like that around here...
