Other Info:
Hi, I'm 29 and based in Leeds. I've worked in acute mental health services within the NHS for the past 11 years and have built a secure, stable career that I'm incredibly proud of. My role has given me a deep appreciation for emotional wellbeing, resilience, and the importance of helping children and families feel safe, supported, and understood.
As a gay man, I've chosen the co-parenting route because, while there are many ways to become a parent, traditional pathways can involve significant barriers. For me, becoming a dad has always been the dream, and I'm excited about building a respectful, supportive partnership with someone who shares that same goal.
I believe children flourish when they're raised with love, consistency, positive reinforcement, and emotional security. Being psychologically informed through my career, I understand the importance of helping children feel heard, valued, and confident in who they are. I'd hope to raise a child in an environment where they're encouraged to explore, learn, and grow, knowing they're unconditionally loved. I also believe the strongest co-parenting relationships are built on honesty, trust, flexibility, and always putting a child's needs first.
Outside of work, I'm an adventurous person who loves making the most of life. You'll usually find me kayaking, exploring the coast, or planning my next trip away. I also have a slightly nerdy side—I'm a huge Harry Potter LEGO fan! I share my home with my five-year-old dog, Crackers, who has the gentlest nature and absolutely adores children.
I'm looking to meet someone who shares my values and wants to create a loving, stable, and happy upbringing for a child. I'm not looking for a romantic relationship; I'm looking for a genuine parenting partnership where we can communicate openly, support one another, and give our future child the very best start in life.
