Other Info: We are a married lesbian couple who have a school aged daughter from a previous relationship. We have wished to have a child together for 3 years now, but have been unable to afford treatment from a traditional fertility clinic. Though we would prefer that our sperm donor not have a role as a parent in our child's life, that person would obviously have contact with the child as a family friend if they wished, and we intend to be candid with the child about how they were conceived and who their donor is, unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous. We don't much care about physical characteristics for a donor, as that's unimportant to having a child, but we would have some questions about family history when it comes to health.
