Other Info: My (mtf) girlfriend and I (ftnb) are trying to have our first baby. She has always wanted to be a mom and I want nothing more than to be a parent with her. We've been trying to conceive naturally for about a year now and due to her transition, it's been taking both a mental and physical toll on each of us, so we're looking into donation.
We met in beauty school 5 years ago and have been together ever since. She is still a hairstylist, while I have moved to working as an educational zookeeper. We both have always been around children and childcare for our entire lives, including special needs children and want nothing more than to have one of our own.
My partner comes from an adoption background and has trauma related to that, so ideally we would do a no contact donor with the potential for discussion once the child gets older. Our only true requirements for our donor is someone who is LGBTQ+ or an ally, as well as home insemination only.
