Other Info: We are a gay couple living in Geneva, Switzerland, aged 46 and 34.
From 2020 to 2024, we were heavily engaged in a surrogacy project in Canada and Mexico. After 6 transfers of 9 embryos, we had to give up with our big dream and were devastated. Our dream of becoming fathers is so strong that it really came to a shock that after all those efforts, we would end up without a child.
We currently have an adoption request pending, which means that State of Geneva is reviewing our request and shall be delivering a "permit" within 2-3 years, from which we will be able to maybe adopt a child abroad. If we're lucky.
In the meantime, we figured it would make sense to check this website and see 1) if there was another way to become parents and/or 2) to help a woman becoming pregnant and fulfil the dream we could not achieve yet.
