Hi future co-parents! I'm a 39-year-old half-Asian, half-white bisexual man. I used to work as a biophysicist (and have a PhD from a fancy school) and had intended to become a research professor, but realized that my calling was in working with people to help them become the best versions of themselves they could be, and so I recently began a program in clinical psychology. This career leverages my patience and empathy to serve my fellow humans, and will also be highly personally rewarding for me.
Physically, I'm 5'11", a toned 145 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. My mother has blue eyes, which means that I have one blue-eyed gene and one brown-eyed gene. So if you have blue eyes, our child has a 50/50 chance of blue or brown eyes. I don't drink or use any drugs (although I have used psychedelics twice in my life as a psychic exploration, and would consider trying them again with the right people in the right circumstances), unless you count caffeine and endorphins :). I have no history of chronic diseases or mental disorders. I rarely get sick and when I do I recover quickly. I'm dextrous and coordinated, at a large scale (skiing, dancing), to a smaller scale (playing musical instruments, touch-typing), and in between (my ultimate-frisbee-playing friend told me this September I'm really good at throwing for someone who hasn't thrown in a decade). I'm no Hercules, but I'm strong for my size -- I can bang out twenty pull-ups and easily leg-press more than twice my weight.
I was fortunate to have a supportive, caring upbringing that allowed me to realize my intellectual and artistic potential. My SAT score was 1580, and I graduated from college magna*****laude, in the top 5% of my class. I majored in chemistry but was so active in music -- orchestra, choir, composition -- that music majors thought that I was one of them! In high school, I played the oboe in the California State Honor Band, and graduated with a 4.0.
Music remains central to my life. In non-Covid times, I sing in two vocal groups, and I compose music as well. I have the good luck of belonging to a quarantine bubble with other skilled singers, so we have a chance to sing my music (and of course other composers') in person. I enjoy every other medium of art as well, and like going to performances and exhibitions.
I am currently single, although I have dated both women and men seriously in the past. In ordinary times in which I am sexually active, I take my and my partners' health seriously and if not monogamously coupled practice harm reduction and get tested regularly. Because of Covid I am not currently in a sexual relationship.
What I'm looking for now is to be a parent, in one form or another. If you seek only a sperm donor, I would be honored to help you create a family, through the method of your choice. If you would like your child to have a "big brother" figure to support the their upbringing and help them grow into a great person, I'm also your man. If you are a couple who would like two related children, I would be overjoyed to be of service. I am financially secure and require no monetary inducement for anything.
