Other Info:
For so many years, I was either in school or working in a sort of closed environment (mostly competitive men) as a litigation lawyer... Now I'm getting older, divorced (for many years now), and would really like to know that I helped to create a child. I think I'm the male version of really, really, really wanting a baby... Ideally, I would like to have contact with the child, but I am flexible on that point. More than you wanted to know: - I sometimes have long hair, and sometimes short hair. As I write this, my hair is long. - I was raised in Oregon, USA in a big, nuclear family: my parents had 11 kids. True fact. All my six brothers have children. Most of my family is involved in real estate in some way. - I graduated from the University of Portland (BBA) and then Notre Dame law school and moved to Manhattan to do "securities law" but ended up doing litigation. For many years. - Then I got divorced - well, she did - and so I had to change many things, including a decision to work in China for a fashion company. Now I am in Hong Kong, not sure exactly how long, but it is sort of my base for working in China. - I didn't know that I wanted a baby until after I got divorced and my life changed. I was on the "hamster wheel" so long, and didn't quite have my priorities straight. - I've had several girlfriends since the divorce, and obviously, not everyone wants a baby these days, so "it's complicated". And, at this point, it might become a philosophical discussion, so I better end it there.
