Other Info: We are looking for someone who is not ‘just’ a donor, we are looking for a special person who is able to give us the once in a life time gift of becoming a family, two mums, a whānau. The gift of grandchildren for our own parents and the gift of little people who we know will one day grow into incredible humans who have something to offer the world, just by being themselves. Hopefully someone who shares a similar outlook on life and similar values, values that we hope to share with any potential children.

We live in beautiful Ōtautahi, Christchurch. We began our relationship here and are surrounded by our whānau and a beautiful network of friends, colleagues and support. We have been lucky enough to travel extensively together overseas and we both love the outdoors. I’m a lawyer & my partner is a primary school teacher. We are animal lovers and our lives tend to revolve around our dog, horses and things with four legs. We value the ‘simple’ things in life and this will be reflected as we start a family.

We are open to a miriad of scenarios that may eventuate. Our hope for a donor is that in some shape or form they are known to our family, in what capacity this ends up being though is up to you.

We would consider a relationship where we get to know you and your whānau, become friends and you being a known part of our child’s life in what ever capacity you feel comfortable with and likewise we would also consider just the gift of a donation with no other involvement if that is your wish as long as we had enough information to share with future children such as sibling information etc.

We know that it is as much a decision for the donor for who they feel comfortable donating to as it is a decision for us. We do not mind the location of the donor, we are happy to travel or cover all associated costs if you would prefer to come to us.
