This is new for me, so I'm a little nervous! For some time now, I have wanted a baby. Now, in my late 30s, I think I'm OK making that happen in a non-traditional way, as I'd hate to jump into a potentially bad relationship just to hurry up and conceive!! I'm of average attractiveness (perhaps above average when I was younger!), intelligent, love children, and am currently a dog mom. I have 5 years of experience working with children who have special needs, earned a Master's degree, and own a small business. I don't make a lot of money; however, I own a small 3 bedroom house in a decent neighborhood with an affordable mortgage. I'm pretty easy-going and I don't like drama. I have 2 sisters living in the Holly Springs area, and my Mom lives 3 miles from me, so I do have a support system. My ideal situation would be a sperm donor, who is open to meeting a child after age 18 (if the child wants to). I also think a co-parenting situation would be nice if there is a single man, gay or straight, or a gay couple who wants a child and would be willing to be part-time dads. That said, anonymous is OK too- though I think a kid should at least have an idea of who their biological parent is if that information is available, particularly for when they are older.
