Other Info: I have always planned to be a parent, and believe I would be a good one...I used to be a teacher, am a nurturer by nature, fun and enjoy interacting with kids at their level. I didn't feel comfortable for this step with previous partners and, given my age, I would rather raise the child alone (with many relatives and a strong support network) than be in a relationship only for the chance to have a child. Am probably more inclined to seek only a donor, however, I wouldn't rule out contact if that is what is agreed are the terms are mutually agreeable. The reason I am on this site is because I'd like to have some --even if limited to only a picture and self-written description of the reasons for doing this-- with the person. I have been to the clinic and find the idea of having a purely anonymous identity from paper (no pictures) and check-boxes form part of who will be the most important little person in my life too disconcerting. The little dude or dudette will be loved and ably nurtured. The logistics would have to be discussed, given that the clinic is in Spain (unless I go to another, happy to do) but I am flexible and supportive of the right person.
