Other Info: I am planning on trying to conceive around late summer/fall of 2021 (first cycle hopefully around July). Currently just trying to learn more and see what my options are.

I do not know what kind of insemination or contact I will want, it will depend on the donor. I have extremely strong preference for AI and the option for the child to be able to contact the donor after age 18.

One thing I’d like my donor to be open to is any testing I might want to do prior to conceiving (such as STD, genetic health, ensuring we are not related). Obviously I would cover the costs, and this would only apply to the donor I was otherwise prepared to use.

I also am looking for someone who does not plan to donate infinitely and has a limit to the number of FAMILIES (not children) they will contribute to. I do not really want my child to have 45 half siblings all from different mothers, if that makes sense. Having 10 half siblings from 5 mothers would be different. I know I ultimately have no control over what a donor does, but I’d like to find someone on the same page as me.
