We’re a queer couple, both aged 28, based in Hove, hoping to start a family in the near future. We’re looking for a sperm donor who is kind, emotionally mature, and genuinely committed to being a positive presence in our future child’s life, not as a parent, but more like an “uncle” or close family friend.
We are not looking to rush this process. It’s important to us to get to know the person we’re doing this with, to form trust and friendship before moving forward. We’d love to meet in person, take our time, and be clear from the beginning about everyone’s boundaries, expectations, and roles; ideally with an agreement in place so we’re all on the same page. We would need you to sign a contract that states you relinquish all parental rights, as well as other things, such as we would be signing to accept that we are in no way at all to benefit financially off of you.
We’re looking for a donor who is healthy, thoughtful, and ideally open to being in our child’s life in a way that adds connection without overstepping. We imagine occasional visits, shared celebrations, and an honest, warm relationship that grows naturally over time.
