I am a 36 year-old single lesbian who lives in the northeastern US. I’ve always wanted to be a mother. My partner and I separated, but I would like to continue my quest to be a mother. My Irish heritage is very important, so I’m only seeking donors who are Irish. All of my grandparents are Irish, and although I was born in the US, I ideally would like the donor to also be Irish as well. I studied in Ireland and visit many times each year to see family and the heritage is important to me.
I am 5’6”, slim build, dark brown hair, and light blue eyes. I am a professional within the travel industry, and I also write for magazines. I have a degree in English. I am well traveled, and I have an adventurous spirit. I own my own home, and I live close to my whole family. The only thing I’m missing is a baby. My plan is to raise the baby speaking both English and Spanish, to get a great education, and to travel the world. My child would be surrounded by love, lots of aunts and cousins around to spoil it. We would continue to visit Ireland a few times a year, so that the child wouldn’t know its ancestral land. It would be the most loved and wanted child on the planet.
Ideally, I’m looking for a donor who would be ok with having a health screening, sperm test, and a genetic screening prior to donation, and then either no or a little contact once pregnancy happens. I would want to have some kind of legal document signed to protect us both. This would all be up for discussion, and ideally, the child would be able to contact the donor once they reach a certain age. Also, pictures could possibly be shared from time to time. Again, something that would be discussed with the donor.
