I am a happy single mother to a beautiful, intelligent little girl. She is the light of my world. The joy of motherhood is more than I could have ever imagined, and now I find myself wanting to expand my little family and give my daughter the love of a sibling. However, I don't see myself finding that "special someone", so I now find myself looking into ulterior means of completing my family.
A little about me: I like to consider myself an open-minded person. I enjoy situations that require logical thinking, as well as the ability to exercise creativity. I particularly love reading, writing, and ancient history. I grew up the eldest of six children, with five younger brothers. I have always had a strong desire to be a mother and have a large family of my own (though I would love for my daughter to have a sister to share that bond that I never got to experience). Since childhood, my number one dream in life has been to be a mother. And I am so thankful to have my daughter.
What I am looking for in a donor: I would love to find a donor who is clean and reliable. I would love to find a donor with light hair and blue eyes, or someone of Asian descent. Perhaps someone who might be willing to donate for a sibling down the road as well. I would prefer a proven donor, though that certainly is not a requirement (and if girls run in the family, that would certainly be a lovely bonus). But with all levity aside, ultimately all I want is to bring a healthy child into the world, and give my daughter a sibling.
