I've been staring at this keyboard trying to figure out what to write for about 45 minutes. What do you say? Ice breaker questions? How is the weather? How do you write a bio to someone you will meet, find out you are a match, and potentially have a baby with? It's nerve wracking and feels like a interview. I am just going to wing it and go from there. :) Hi my name is Victoria, but I usually go by Tori. I am currently 27, a bit over weight and have more grey hair than my mother. LOL I work full-time as a manager at a local store. I love my job just as much as I hate it sometimes. :) I own my own vehicles and am in the process of buying my family's home that we grew up in. But we aren't here to talk about me. (If you want to know more please just ask) We are here about you being a donor to help me have a baby. I have one rule. It is that this whole process is done with 100% honesty. I expect it from you and I would hope you would expect it from me. I am not rich by any means but I also will NOT be a welfare mom. I work hard for what I have and don't intend to stop just because I have a child. First and foremost, natural insemination is NOT an option. I'm looking to try home Insemination first a few times and if it's unsuccessful then an iui at a doctors office. Before we started anything I'd want to know what you would want from this whole thing. It's a big decision for both of us and I want you to be as comfortable with everything as possible. People have told me "why not just go out and have a one night stand? " As easy as that sounds, it's just not me. I want to know who the father is, not just for my sake but the child's. They will be curious and ask questions. I want to be able to give them that. Yes, I want to raise a child on my own but who am I to take the right from my child to not know their biological father one day? Not only would I like an known donor for this reason , but also for us to discuss that maybe down the line we could come back together to have more siblings. (Like one more, not looking to be a 20 kids and counting mom) How would this child be raised? No matter if it's a boy or girl, they will be brought up playing outside in dirt and mudd.(Hikes, camping, hunting, fishing, exploring) They will grow up with old Disney movies and 90's cartoons, and play video games. Learn to blare music and sing at the top of their lungs with their mom( so many different genres). They will grow up playing with farm toys, barbies, hot wheels, and spaceships. They will learn about different cultures, drawing, doing photography like their aunt. Learn to care and grow things (we have different animals, and flower, vegetable gardens). Hopefully ALWAYS be creative and curious about everything. Most importantly, they will be unconditionally loved. :)
