We are a lesbian couple - we have been together for over ten years now and we have two gorgeous little girls to a known donor. We has always planned to have three children, but due to Covid and international borders being closed our donor who lives overseas was unable to donate. We have a beautiful relationship with the girls donor, we speak occasionally and the girls are able to call him anytime they like. Sometimes that is frequently over a couple of weeks, but most of the time a couple of months goes past between contact. We would feel quite fussy about choosing another donor for our third baby as we would want a similar arrangement with a new donor. We don't expect another active parent - just occasional contact that allows the child to reach in if they feel they need it. We raise our girls in a very loving big family and they are both very secure and intelligent little people and we would love to have one more child to fill our home and our hearts.
