Other Info: Hi, I am a hard working, self sufficient type of guy. Easy on the eye, like to be outdoors, eat sensibly and enjoy the travails of life. I have been married just over a year but my wife made it clear she was not interested in having kids. However, she fully supports my endeavours to become a dad.Looking for someone sensible with a proven track record of coping with life. I brought up my ex`s kids for seven years...its hard work! Its totally worth it though and they are still my best friends as grown up adults.

A few random bits, I expect people to earn my respect and trust rather than give it out willy nilly. I prefer playing music rather than listening. I enjoy my few friends and am thankful that they put up with me. I am wary about co-parenting of course...certainly not going to rush into anything. I approach all things with the commensurate degree of seriousness and detail required.

I`m old fashioned in many ways but I forge my own path and am not much swayed by popular opinion. I don`t have a problem with co-parenting with the right lesbian couple if thats how it happens and no problem with A.I. either.(my wife insists) My ideal situation would be taking the kid(s) for holiday time etc when they are older and if they want to do so. I don`t see it as a problem if the child is 500 miles away. I would like the child, in time, to be able to visit when he/she wants. I don`t see myself being a hands on dad in the sense of day in day out . However, I`d like to think I`d be there when required. Obviously, a good working relationship with the mum is high priority as are shared values.

Looking for someone who would like a child ( or 2) in their life but not necessarily a man/partner. (i`m now taken) Someone who knows its going to be tough sometimes. An independent type(s) that will contribute equally both in an emotional and fiscal upbringing. Not adverse to having more than one child but needs discussing. White/Latino/hispanic ethnicity. I am not keen to sign away any parental rights even if I only have fringe input on the child`s life on a very occasional basis. I would hope you have done your homework on your search...if it something you thought about last week...please give it some thought for a few months and make sure you know what you are in for.

What's most important to me?
Doing the right thing, not the easy thing. Standing up for myself and for others who are unable to. My personal freedom is valuable to me...not in a narcissistic way...just the way I am . Self respect and integrity are high on my list. Thats not to say I am eternally fab/great/super, of course...I am not, i have my moments like we all do.
What was my favourite school subject?
I disliked school. History was fine but it bothered me that it had been written by the winners..which may not be a true and accurate reflection of events.
How would I describe my business/professional life?
I am self employed and very content with that. I work about 60 hours a week because I want to and I enjoy it. I have enough money for stability and thats enough for me. I work in a farming environment.
How would I describe my social life?
Quiet. I like doing my own projects and visiting my pals now and then. I may go to a pub to see a music session and I could care less if I never seen a nightclub for the rest of my life. I`d rather be down on the beach with a barbieque than in a restaurant.

Tough but fair. More right than left though I trust none of them.
